So I was asked to make a statement about shopping trends during the Covid lockdown. The biggest item at the beginning were freezers- everyone wanted a freezer- this went onto breadmakers, Now it is big screen TVs and I mean big. The number of people who pull up in their zippy little cars and expect to fit a 75″ screen in the boot is endless.
Now that we spent considerable amount of time in our homes it is shifting to cooking. People are upgrading to steam ovens, statement rangehoods and downdrafts and taps with filtered sparkling, boiling and chilled water.
